Not too many people really liked Garden of Shadows from what I have read online. Is there a specific reason why, or did the storyline just catch your interest more than others? Just curious.

I love Garden of Shadows but Flowers will always be my favorite.
And I always love the prequels. It's so fascinating to get to see the circumstances that set the chain of events into motion that caused the kids to get locked up in the attic... It was also really nice to see some depth to Oliva's character that you didn't get to see in the first two books.
